CTE prepares students to be college and career ready by
providing core academic skills, employability skills and technical,job-specific
skills. Today’s Care
er and Technical Education programs integrate academics in
a rigorous and relevant curriculum and include post-secondary partnerships
enabling clear pathways to certifications and degrees.
The district offers career and technical education programs in the following areas: Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; Business Management and Administration; Arts, AV Technology and Communication; Architecture and Construction; Education and Training; Finance; Health Science (Medical); Hospitality and Tourism; Human Services; Information Technology; Manufacturing; Marketing; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; and Transportation. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, prerequisite requirements, and class space available.
